Green

Our yard is really green and pretty. Thankfully it rains here a lot so we have not had to pay for water. Everything is so pretty which is pretty different from TX. Here is a picture of our green yard.

Of course it has also been raining a lot. Last Friday night we got 3 inches in 30 minutes.  It made the lake pretty messy.  Here are some pictures.

Texas Trip

Our trip to TX has come and gone. It was wonderful while it lasted!!!!!!!!!! We had lots of fun. Of course all of my time was spent with my family while Andrew spent time with family and friends. He left for the farm as soon as he got off of the plane while I went to Lubbock for the day. As soon as mom and I got into town we went to Ryan and Heather's house. There were three kids there happily waiting to see their KK. We hung out at their house for a while and then I went to see new baby Olivia and her new parents. It was great to see my BFF and listen to her stories of being a new parent. I am so happy for her!!!!!!! Then my parents and Heather and the kids all went to eat mexican food. We had a huge slumber party at mom's house on Thursday night. Friday morning we just ran some errands around town and then made our trip back to Amarillo for the baseball tournament. We made it to the hotel and met up with great-uncle Mike. For supper we had mexican food again. Saturday morning Andrew came back to Amarillo and came to the hotel to hang out before we went to the game. The boys lost their first game but won their second one. Saturday evening we hung out at the pool and ate bar-b-que. Saturday evening Andrew had Grampa's 80th birthday party and then went out with friends. Sunday morning we had another game, which we lost. The boys did great though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ryan's family left to go back to Lubbock while mom,dad and I just did some shopping and then of course ate more mexican food before I had to get back on the plane. It was a fast trip but it was great to be in TX and to be able to see the boys play baseball.

Of course I took pictures although they are mainly of Crimson. The boys were too busy most of the time to stop for a picture.

Countdown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The countdown is almost done.  At this timenext week I will be so excited I probably won't be able to sleep.  We leave for TEXAS on next Thursday.  We are flying into Amarillo.  Andrew will be spending most of his time at his grandparents farm and I of course will be with my family.  The boys have a baseball tournament in Amarillo so we will go to their games and hang out at the hotel.  And of course I am going to eat all of the foods that I have missed.  Andrew only really wants to eat at Chik-fil-a.  It will be a fast trip but a good trip!!!!  I am just ready to see my family.  It is unknown if I will really see Andrew while there, which will be weird but we will survive I am sure.  When we lived in TX we were apart a lot, but since we have moved here we have not been apart.  Truth is this break will probably be good for us.  He is going to see both sets of his grandparents so he will be busy with his family as well.

I also will hopefully get to see my BFF's new baby girl. Were just waiting on her to arrive!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am also hoping and praying that my cousin is able to meet us in TX!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will post lots of pictures when we get home.

We don't have big plans for this weekend.  I hear it is suppose to rain, which really isn't a suprise.

Allergies

I had kind of bad allergies in TX but nothing compared to what I have now.  Right before we left TX (before we knew we were moving) I went to my allergy doctor and was told that I was allergic to almost everything outside as well as peanuts, watermelon and wheat.  Well now that we live somewhere where it rains all of the time and things are really green I am having even more problems.  Last weekend I went to Walgreens to talk to the pharmacist and she suggested something different than the Zyrtec I was taking.  Well the new stuff has not helped at all.  So as of right now I feel like my head is about to expload.  For the past three days I have taken a combination of every allergy pill we have and have not found any relief.  I am thinking I am going to have to go back to an allergy doctor and see what they can do to help.

Memorial Day

Memorial day weekend we did not do much.  When we lived in TX and had a three day weekend we always wanted to make the most of it. But now that we live in a house that we really enjoy rather than a crappy apartment we always want to do stuff around here.  Saturday Andrew worked in the yard all day besides being set back some with lawn mower problems and I stayed inside and cleaned house.  Sunday we didn't do anything.  Then on Sunday we went for a hike on a path that Andrew has been wanting to go on since we moved here.  It borders Lake Minnesota and was pretty neat.

Only 15 more days and we will be in TX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
