Thursday Thoughts

* Seems like forever since I have done my weekly posts but now that I am with the times I can do it from my phone again. Hopefully more posts now!!!!!

* the weather has cooled off here and it is so nice!!!!

* Football season is on at our house.  Andrew is in love and wants his baby to sit and watch with him, well see how long that lasts.

*Andrew woke up with carpet burns on his knees from trying to teach Hen to crawl. He doesn't understand it will happen when it happens.

* think we are going to the farmers market one last time before it closes!!!!

* Coleman turned a year older over the weekend. Calaway in a few weeks and then Crimson. Those kids need to slow down on growing up!!! We are going to celebrate in a few weeks when we're there!

* I got 90% of Henry's Halloween costume ready. I can't wait. Too bad he won't understand.

* Andrew and I have started talking about 1st birthdays for our little guy. We have big plans need to happen first. At this point I am keeping my fingers crossed we will have the party I want for my baby!!  Hopefully our dreams will come true!!!

8 Months

 

 

I don't even know how it is possible that our baby can be 8 months old.  It has gone by so quick and been a blast. 

 

Henry is on the verge of being mobile and I have very  mixed emotions about this.  He want's to move so badly so I have to be excited for him.  Now we just have to get this house ready for a baby on the move.

 

He is doing lots better with food.  He loves him some baby food but was uncertain about regular food.  Everyday we are giving him something new and defferent and he is liking it more and more.

 

I am unsure how much he weighs or how long he is are. 

He has 2 bottom teeth, loves all kinds of baby food except carrots, loves his stuffed fox, loves when his daddy comes home from work, seems to like dadycare, still takes 3 naps and is a very happy baby.

 

We LOVE you Henry Joseph and can't wait to see what you surprise us with this month.

Finally Friday

Lately it has seemed like the weeks have been super long.  I am excited to have an extra long weekend with my 2 boys.  Of course we don't have much planned, but aren't those the best.  Tomorrow we are going to a local fall candy store.  I have some special BIG kids that I need to buy some things for.  Sunday Henry is going to get to make his 2nd trip to Cabela's.  I know he is super excited about this.  Andrew has to mow this weekend(hopefully the last time) so we will be stuck inside watching TV.  The bugs are too bad for Hen to be outside. 

Our little one turned 8 months old this week.  Post coming soon!  He wants to crawl so bad and gets so frustrated.  Andrew is ready for him to crawl but I am NOT.  He still only has 2 teeth but is trying more and more people food.  Soon he will be done with babyfood.  We still think he is the cutest funniest baby in the world. 

Our friends the O'Rears are patiently waiting for the arrival of their little guy.  Come on Grady, we can't wait for you arrival!!!!!  Kallahan, Henry and you are going to be best of friends.  Hopefully not as big of trouble makers as your dads.  Good Luck Lydia, hope your delivery is fast and smooth. 

How is it possible?

We have not lowered Henry's crib at all.  The boy is all business when he is put in his crib.  He sleeps and talks and that is it.  He likes to nap in his crib better than anywhere else in the house.  This child may be sleeping in his crib til he's in jr. high.

But yet he needs a new carseat.  He is just too big for the infant carrier and is a mess when he knows he is being put in it.  So today is the day we are going to buy him a  new one.  Not sure if Andrew or Henry are more excited about this. 

And then he is on the verge of crawling.  Henry is at the point where he gets very frustrated that he cannot move. I am hoping he gets this taken care of in the next few weeks so he will be crawling when we go to Tx so he will have more fun chasing his cousins around. 


Speaking of cousins, here are some new pictures. The boys started a new school this year and sister will be joining them too soon. They are all about to turn a year older and I cannot believe how big they are getting.

And of course I have to give a big shout out to our wonderful friends the Reeves.  They are having a baby boy and we are so happy that Hen will have another friend to play with.  I cannot wait to meet that little guy!!!!!!

We started his celebration last weekend when the Baker's were here with a room at Embassy and have continued this weekend.  We did whatever daddy requested which was an auction where he got lots of military goodies, went to the bank that Jesse James robbed and ate pizza.  And the request continued through Sunday night with a steak dinner with all his favorites.  Happy 30th Birthday Andrew Joseph.  You've had a big year and here's to an even bigger year ahead.  Henry and I love you so much and are thankful for everything you do for us.  Love You!

Of course you can tell from Kelley's post(http://3cowboysandamommy.blogspot.com/) we all had a wonderful time.  We all realized that with kids life is a lot different.  But we wouldn't have it any other way.  We did lots of shopping, eating and loving on our boys, big and small.

We went to the Farmer's Market, ate stuffed burgers and Italian food, celebrated Andrew's 30th birthday, went to the horse races, swam, took the little boys to Cabela's for the first time and drank too many beers.

Thursday Thoughts

* Again I am being a bad blogger and have not updated since our visitors have been here.

* Speaking of visitors the Baker's were here and we had an amazing time!!!!!!!!!  Lots of eating, catching up and wrangling little boys.  Many memories were made!!!!!!!  I will upload my pictures soon I promise.  Thanks again Baker's for choosing us to spend your vacation with.  Now to begin planning our child free trip!!!!!

* I am loving the Olympics and not sure what I will do when they are over.

* I just bought 50 Shades of Grey.  Not sure if it was a good idea or not.  Hen may have a sibling sooner than later!!!!!!!!!  I'm kidding!

* Henry and I decided to make a trip to Tx in October without daddy.  I cannot wait and hope that Andrew survives without us.

* We go to Henry's first Packer game next week.  They play there first game tonight on TV and daddy is probably hoping that Henry is quite during it.  Good thing it starts around his bedtime.

* Andrew's big 30 is on Monday and we are going to celebrate some more this weekend.  He has requested going to an auction and to the Billy the Kid museum.  Not my kind of fun but it's his day!!!!!!!

* If I send you text with pictures of my baby and you don't respond it makes me very angry.  You know who you are(MCG, HND, RAD). So get with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
