Another movie, Relaxing and Texas

Last night we watched another movie. We watched No Strings Attached. It was cute, kind of predictable and I probably liked it more than husband. I think Natalie Portman is cute, husband doesn't so that's one reason why he didn't like it. That's just how he is!! If you want to see a chick flick then I would for sure see it.

Today we are Relaxing. As I type this we are at the lake. He is fishing from the pier and I am relaxing in a chair. I am sure there are some things that need to be done around the house but today I just don't care!!! I hope we stay here a few more hours just in time to go home and enjoy some tacos and go to bed!

We both leave in 3 short days to head south to Texas! I am so excited to be there and eat and se friends and family that I haven't seen in a while. I am going to miss my dad and brothers family but their loss!! I will see them in a month when I go back to Tx!

Movies

The past two weekends we have watched 2 different movies.  Really 3 if you count the one that Husband is watching now.  He is currently watching True Grit, I have seen it so I thought I would search the web.

Last weekend we watched Hallpass.  It was funny but crude.  Of course Husband LOVED it!!!!!!!!!!!  He giggled and giggled and was still repeating lines during the week.  Last night we watched Just Go With It.  It was a cute movie.  Kind of predictable but cute!!!!  Husband LOVES Jennifer Aniston so of  course he liked it.  I would highly reccomend both of these movies!

It is super hot here today.   90 Degrees with 90% humidity.  Needless to say I have stayed inside all day.  Poor husband had to mow the yard.  I am just glad he got it done.  I am glad he did though because he said we can go to the lake next weekend.  It will be the first time all summer.  This fat body needs some major sun especially before heading to Houston.

JL has started up again.  I had a meeting last week and have an event this week.  Kind of like getting out of the house one night a week!!!!!!

Visitors #2

Mark and Lydia arrived right after lunch on Friday.  We picked them up and went by the house to unload their bags and then headed to Mall of America.  We had a snack at a pita place and then hit the stores.  Of course the boys weren't real happy with shopping.  We then headed downtown to eat at Psycho Suzies.  We had never been there but had seen it on TV.  It was a HUGE hit and lots of fun!!!!!!!!  Saturday morning we went back to the same farmers market.  This time we had a sample of everything and it was all delicious!!!!!!  The boys then wanted to go to a Military store so they did that and the girls went to a few stores.  We then met back up at the house and went to the casino which was NO good and then to get a better look at the river before heading to a German restaurant.  We had never been to this particular one and it was just as good but different in many ways. We had lots of fun before the meal at the happy hour but we might of had too many appetizers because Mark was unable to even eat his meal.  Not sure if it was due to the food or alcohol!!!!!!  Sunday morning we woke up and went to brunch at Tavern on France and then went to look at Cathedral and then to a neat street lined with lots of cute little stores.  We then came home and rested for a while and then headed back downtown to have happy hour at the W and then went to dinner at a restaurant called Crave.  We ate there last year when my family was here and husband wanted to go back.  The guys had all you can eat Prime rib and crab legs.  Us girls ordered normal stuff off the menu.  The dinner was very fun!!!!!

It was a fantastic trip with lots of laughs.  The boys definetly enjoyed their time out on the deck each night.  I don't even want to know what all they talked about.  We hope you guys come back to visit soon!!!!  Hopefully the boys can meet up when husband is in Ama in a few weeks.  Thanks so much for coming all the way to see us.  Mark and Lydia, we had a blast and LOVE you guys.

I know this post is super delayed but we are just now feeling energized after 2 weekends full of exploring, food and FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ron and Abbye Reeves arrived in MN on Thursday around lunch.  We first came by the house to unload their bags and then made our way to Mall of America to have a snack.  We ate at Soul Daddy's- it was the restaurant that won America's Next Best Restaurant.  It was really good and husbands and I's second time to eat there but sadely it closed down days later.  We then did some shopping.  For dinner we went to the 5-8 Club for stuffed burgers.  This is actually one of my favorite places so I was really excited.  Friday morning we woke up and made our way to the outlet mall.  Everyone got something so I would say it was a successful trip!!!!  We came home and relaxed for a while before heading to the German restaurant.  This was lots of fun.  We all ate way too much and the boys drank too much.  After eating the boys decided they wanted to drink some more so we went to Tavern on France.  Saturday morning we went downtown to the Farmer's Market where we had many different types of food.  We then went to the horse races and had a little lunch there.  Saturday evening we went to happy hour at the W Hotel and had dinner at the original Bucca di Beppo.  Of course we all ate way too much.  Of course our trip had to come to an end when we took them to the airport early Sunday morning.  We LOVED having them come visit.  WE had a blast and can't wait for hopefully another trip somewhere next summer.  WE are hoping to keep this a tradition.  Thank you Ron and Abbye for a trip that we will never forget.  I hope you guys had as much fun as we did.

See you guys in 12 short weeks when I am back in TX.  We will have tons to celebrate and shopping to do.  LOVE you guys!!!

Abbye took some wonderful pictures but I can't seem to be able to load them so hopefully husband can help soon.
