Happy Birthday and Anniversary

Happy birthday to the BEST mom, grandma, mother-in-law, aunt, sister and wife!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy birthday to my absolute best friend!!!  Even though you are my mom I tell you everything and sometimes maybe too much.  I cannot imagine where I would be without you.  You are the best role model a girl could ask for.  You do so much for our whole family and especially my little family of 3.  I love the relationship you have with my crazy husband, except when you guys gang up against me!!!!  I am so happy to be able to celebrate with you this year after too many years away.  I hope this is the best year yet and here's to many more.

Boring Updates

I missed my Thursday Thoughts.  Don't have an excuse, just lazy!!!!

Life has been going by at sonic speed and I don't see it slowing down anytime soon.  Hen and I are going to Lubbock on Thursday to celebrate BIG!  We have a very special birthday and anniversary and then of course Easter! We'll come home for 3 days then head back to Lubbock for Andrew and I to head to New Orleans, woohoo!!!!!  Come home for 3 days then Hen and I are headed to Dallas. Then Andrew hunting. Home for 2 weeks, back to Dallas(Canton) with the inlaws, then Andrew hunting again, home for a week and then to Ruidoso for Memorial Day with my family.  I am exhausted just thinking about it, but extremely Thankful to be able to do all that we are doing.  Living up north we didn't travel much so we are making up for that.  It's going to be a great summer. We have  a few more little trips planned as well.

Hen has still been acting crazy at daycare!!!  I can't worry about it too much as I know we are doing the best we can.  He has been getting in more trouble at home too.  Hopefully it's just a stage. 

Henry has a new(and his only) 2nd cousin.  She is just precious.  Hopefully we will get to meet her soon!!!!  Garrison Grace Carper

We got to meet Mr. Ike last weekend and had the best time.  He may have slept through the visit but us parents and the big kids had a ball.  Our visit's are never long enough!!!!  We can't wait til they come here soon and we will for sure see them in May.  Love You Guys!!!!

We have not been good about taking pictures of our little guy.  I have the camera packed for Lubbock and hope to get some new ones then.

Thursday Thoughts

* One week closer to our vacation.  Can't wait!!!!!  We have the hotel booked, reservations for dinner and plans for the spa on our agenda.  I have been craving seafood but going to put my craving on hold until I get to NOLA!!!!!!

* Hen has been going crazy at daycare.  The kid that use to play by himself and never talk has turned into the bully.  We are not proud of this.  I tell him every morning when I drop him off to be sweet and nice but I don't think he's getting it.  I'll keep trying!!!!!

* The weather here has been amazing!!!!  We have started going on nightly walks and Henry loves them.  Trying to lose a couple lb's so I can gain them right back while on vacation.

* We have a fun weekend planned with our wonderful friends The Reeve's.  I cannot wait to get my hands on that baby!!!!! 

* We have a busy week next week, wine night at our house and then I have a party on Saturday night.  Andrew will be keeping Hen, which he hasn't done in months.  Say a prayer for them both!!!!

* Henry has decided that he does not like wearing shoes or socks but put a pair of flip-flops on him and he's good to go.  Whatever works!!!!!  He is very stubborn just like his mom dad!!!!!

Thursday Thoughts(a day late)

* We had the best weekend last weekend.  Drinks with frineds on Friday, Henry slept late Sat. and Sun, the best brunch and outside time.  Love my family!!!!!

* Henry has started showing his true colors at daycare this week.  Talking non-stop, beating up his friends and not being quiet when he wakes up from nap first.  Not sure what has taken hiim so long to open up.

* Speaking of Hen, he has definetly got a personality.  He is giving his dad a run for his money.  Their conversations are the craziest.

* We are headed to the farm this weekend.  Ready for a weekend of relaxation leading up to weeks of traveling.

* I am getting more on track with my work paperwork.  So glad I am finally getting a hang of things.

* Henry has decided he is too cool for baths and can only take showers.  He will actually get in the shower just to play!!!!!  Crazy kid!!!!

* Andrew went out of town this week for work, and my mom came and we had the BEST time.  Thank you Grandma for coming and hanging out with us!!!!  We love you.
