Thursday Thoughts

* I have not finished Henry's first year monthly posts.  I will not be getting mom of the year.

* Speaking of Parents of the Year, Andrew and I will not be getting it from 2 events that happened last week. Not sure what our deal is.

* Hen is on antibiotics again for another cold and ear infection.  I feel so bad for him.

* I am so proud of my husband. He has been working so hard and it is definitely paying off.  Love Him and so happy we moved back to TX!!!

*  Andrew and I are having a date night this Saturday.  No idea what we are going to do! Not much to do in our new town.

* Andrew and I are planning a late anniversary/mom and dad get-away!!!!!!!!  As of right now I am still having anxiety about leaving my little guy.  It's a few months away so hopefully by trip time I will be ok.

* Besides date night this weekend we have nothing planned.  Lots of relaxing!!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday Morning

I missed Thursday thoughts, that didn't last long.

If you notice the time of the post, we are up super early for a Saturday. Our little boy loves morning time.  In a few hours we are off to the dr, Hen either has a cold in his eyes or pink eye. Fun times but I guess it could be worse! Hopefully then we can head to watch his cousins play baseball.

Grandma is here and we had fun yesterday running around town and working on this house while H was at daycare. We finally got one side of the garage cleared out and can park my car in it. So nice!

Henry finally gets to to meet his paediatrician this week.  We have to get him caught up on his shots. Hope I like this Dr because finding one in town hasn't been easy. We are still on the waiting list for2 others in town.

Ready for spring so all the stickies will go away. We have all been more sick since moving here than we were the whole time we lived in Mn. We will survive!!!!!!!

Picture frustration

For some reason here at work I cannot post any pictures.  I have them saved to my computer but when I post them here they are all turned the wrong way.  So frustrating!!!!!!!

January is almost over and our little fam can't wait.  This is the last weekend that Andrew has to work.  Recently Hen and I made a day trip to Lubbock to see the boys play in a basketball tournament.  We had a blast and they won 1st place.  This weekend grandma is coming to stay and we are going to watch the boys play in a baseball tournament.  I am making up for many events that I missed while living in MN.  Hen did wonderful at the basketball tournament so I hope he likes baseball too.  I took pictures but I left my camera in Lubbock so hopefully I can get them posted soon!!!!!

Thursday Thoughts

* Two weeks in a row with these posts.  I am doing better!!!!

* Henry fell asleep in his highchair for the first time tonight. He was a tired little guy!!!!

* We are almost done with January which means Andrew is almost done working weekends.  I am ready, he is more ready.

* I am ready for this weekend and next!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fun times!!!!!!!!!!!!!

* I am getting my car detailed this weekend.  It needs it so bad.  There is 12 months worth of spilled milk in the back seat. Yuck!!!!

* I love Henry's daycare and they love my baby.  He loves going there!

* Hen is getting a much needed haircut today.  This being the reason for no new pics, he is in bad shape.  Pics coming soon!!!!

* Henry has no desire to walk.  He will stand all day but has no desire to go anywhere on his feet.

Thursday Thoughts

It's been awhile since I have made one of these posts.  Needless to say now it is Friday but I am blaming that on my phone. So here it goes. 

* Our baby is growing way to fast.  Makes me super sad but excited for what's to come. 

* Hen is not walking but he gets into everything.  EVERYTHING. Drives me and his dad crazy. 

* Not sure if we will ever be done unpacking boxes.  I am shooting for by this summer.  I have to take a break from unpacking for now and just relax.  I can't handle it anymore right now, maybe we need to get rid of some stuff.

* I have loved staying home the last few weekends with my boys.  And am looking forward to a few more at home. 

* We have all had the sickies at our house and I am over it.  It has been hard on us all.  Here's to a healthier 2013!!!!

* There are still lots of our friends that we have not seen since we have moved back.  Come on let's change this!!!!!!!

* I want to get better about taking pictures.  I have an amazing camera so it shouldn't be hard. 

* I am making Hen some Valentine's shirts and I can't wait for him to wear them. 

* Andrew has been getting home from work much later than when we lived in MN so we haven't had dinner as a family all week.  Makes me sad!

* Wednesday night I let Henry have dessert before dinner and have his first chocolate chip cookie.  He still ate his dinner!  Don't tell his dad!!!!!!! He LOVED it!!!!!!!

* I want to go on a vacation.  For the last almost 3 years our vacations have consisted of coming to visit family.  I want somewhere fun and relaxing. 

2012 in Review

Wow how is the year already over? What a year it has been!!!!!

We started the year off  Loving on our new baby.  We celebrated Hen's first Valentine's day.  Andrew left us in March for a business trip to Nashville.  We took Henry to meet his great grandparents and cousins in April.  We had friends visit in August and Andrew turned 30.  We decided it was time to move back to Tx in September so Andrew started applying for jobs.  Henry's friend Grady was born in September.  We finally decided to move back to Tx in October and Henry and I came and looked for houses.  In November we packed everything up and officially left Minnesota and became Texans AGAIN.  In December we were able to celebrate Christmas and Henry's birthday with both sides of our families.  And Henry's friend Ike was born( we can't wait to meet that baby!!!!)

I hope 2013 isn't nearly as busy as 2012 was.  We have a few things we want to do around the house and a few road trips we want to go on but nothing real BIG.  I hope to spend lots of time in our new home loving on my boys.  We are starting off right with nothing planned for this weekend and I can't wait!!!!!!
