Thursday Thoughts

* So happy it was a short week!

* We have BIG plans for the weekend. Friday we will be hitting the big town of Lubbock to party like college kids with our good friends The Reeves.  #drewsgothispartypantieson

* We are also going to the water park on Saturday. I cannot wait to see the joy on Hen's face. He will love it!

* Hen is officially a walker. #abouttime 

* I got verbally attacked this week at work and waited to tell Andrew til last night and he did over react and said lots of cray cray statements, but still doesn't think I should quit cause I won't have anything to do all day. 

* We are already talking about the Holidays around here. Andrew has already got his days off planned. Wow, how is that possible? It just makes me sick thinking about it. #toostressful  #mybabywillbetwo

* I have so much to be thankful for. I love my family, friends and job(most days)!!!!!!!!!

Memorial Day Weekend 2013

We had an amazing weekend with my wonderful family. My whole fam was there plus my moms brother, his wife and my cousin and her new baby. We were missing my  other cousin but she will be at our next family vacay!!!! We all had a blast!!!! We ate, watched baseball, ate, some drank, ate, swam in the hot tub and played cards. We were so busy having fun that I didn't take any photos of everyone, I only have a few snapped on our phones. I am so glad that we are Texans again to enjoy in these special times. Henry had a blast, he is definitely his daddy's child and loved the outdoors. He will be in heaven when he realizes we are going back in a few months!   

Thank you to my wonderful parents who did so much work to make this weekend fun. Thanks to my brothers family who allow us to cheer on the boys like maniacs. Thanks to my uncle, aunt and cousin for coming to make memories that I know my grandparents are so proud of. Love you all!!!!

But most of all Thanks to all of the men and women who have served our country.

Wonderful Weekend

We had a great weekend. Friday night we had dinner and played around the house. Saturday we had breakfast, did some chores around the house.  Then went to lunch with our friends, The Smith's, then came back to the house to let the kids play. Then our family of 3 took an amazing nap,  the grown- ups

 might have been alcohol induced. Shortly after we woke up we heard from The Smith's again about going to Duck 

Dynasty, we scrambled to get ready and find a sitter but thankfully we did. It was a perfect impromptu date night!!!! 

Thank Smiths!!!!!!  Sunday we ate breakfast and did lots more chores around the house. We had a seafood dinner, 

which Hen ate more than he ever has and I made my first Mix Match Momma bunt cake!!!!

Needless to say Monday has not been a good day, here's to hoping the week gets better!

Confused

I made a Thursday Thoughts post yesterday but it didn't post. Hmmmmmmm......

Anyways, we have a weekend at home and I can't wait. I've already completed many of my chores and the pool is filled. Hoping to spending lots of qt in the water with my boys this weekend. 

The weather here this week has been great. Next week it is officially summer. Seems like it was just Christmas, although I'm already thinking of the holidays. 

I have been to Wal Mart and HEB too many times this week. Trying to have lots of fresh fruit is hard work.

I can't wait to spend Memorial Day weekend with my fam. This trip is likely to be EPIC. Not sure if that's good or bad!

Somebody has a new nickname: Dude with a 'Tude, he tells us "no"many times a day and has quite an opinion. Wonder who he gets that from?!?!?

Let's try this again

I have decided to not make my blog private any longer. Truth is I will blog about what I want when I want.  I'm over pleasing everyone, actually have been for a while since I had my little guy. My main focus is my boys!!!!! I blog so that many years down the road I can look back and remember our crazy life's. Lets see how this goes!!!!! 

This week I have my first Midland JL meeting. Very excited. And we are having family date night on Saturday at a new tavern. Yummy! I recently had my first appointment with the dr that will one day deliver our second child. Wow! We leave next week for a long weekend in Ruidoso with my fam. It's going to be a blast and many memories will be made! 

Mother's Day 2013

I had the perfect Mother's Day weekend. Henry and I went to Lubbock and spent it with my mom doing absolutely nothing! We ate great food, talked and watched 2 special boys play baseball via the Internet. I was so Thankful to spend it with my mom since I have missed the last few years. 

Henry and his daddy gave me the perfect gift besides being able to go to Lubbock, an iPad. I had no idea I wanted one, and now I don't know how I ever survived without it. Hen also gave me the gift of him taking his first real steps. Grandma was determined and she made it happen!!!

Speaking of grandma, aka: my mom, she is the best role model and giving person EVER! I am so lucky to not only call her my mom but also my best friend. My little fam and my brothers fam would be lost without her. She loves me and my brother, our spouses and of course her grand babies more than life itself. I love spending time with her and am so blessed to live close and can't wait to share many more memories! Love you mom!

Weekend Review

We went to Dallas/ Canton for the weekend. It was a very fast trip but fun! Hen did good on the way there and slept like a champ Friday night. Saturday we shopped all day, we didn't buy much as it is all mainly house stuff and our house is busting at the seams. I did pick up a few clothing items!!!!! Sunday we slept late 7:30, and hit the road. We stopped and had a great lunch in Abilene and then came home and worked in the yard. Henry loves to work in the yard!!!!! He might have eaten some dirt which threw his dad into a tizzy!!!!

Can't wait for this weekend!!!!!

Thursday Thoughts

* Again, another crazy day of weather. It's freezing!!!!!!!! What's even funnier is when one of my crazy clients talks about the weather being bi-polar, she is dumb!!!!!!

* Both of my boys seem to be feeling better. Thankfully, I couldn't handle much more of Drew being sick! Men being sick is the worst.

* It hasn't even been a month since we went on vacay and I already need another. We leave for Ruidoso in 3 weeks!

* My clients have gone completely nuts this week, 2 in jail for alcohol charges, one thinking her husband is abusing her(not true) and another thinking I am her personal driver- think again!!!!!

* Andrew looked at Pinterest for the first time and chose cream cheese chocolate chip cookies, I didn't like them but he did. Hen seemed to like them too!

* We leave for Dallas tomorrow. I hope we have nice weather.
