Thursday Thoughts

* So glad our secret has been revealed. We are still in shock that are dream is coming true.

* We have started packing and our house is a disaster but it will be worth it in the end.

* Henry is staying with a sitter tonight while Andrew and I go out to celebrate. And he gets to celebrate with one of his bff's Mark. I am kind of nervous about the sitter. Hopefully after I have adequately drinks I'll survive.

* Henry gets to have a birthday party now that we'll be in Tx. It won't be anything huge but more than he would have had if we were staying in MN.

* I will be in Tx when my BFF has her precious baby boy. Not sure she is as excited as I am about it!!!!!!

* There are so many people we haven't seen enough of the last few years that we hope to be able to spend lots of time with soon!!!!

Our dreams have come true. 

 

We are moving to

 

 

 

To say we are thrilled would be an understatement.

 

We have wanted this to happen for the last few months and our patience has paid off.  Andrew has been offered a wonderful opportunity that we could not pass up. 

 

We will be moving back to Midland.  It will be our new home.  We will be there for many years.

 

We will be able to spend the holidays with our families!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Our time in Minnesota has been amazing.  We have grown as a couple and as a family.  We are both leaving Minnesota as different people.  I would not change this experience for the world and am so thankful that I had my wonderful husband to spend this time with.  I will be sad to leave our home as I love this place.  I am sad to leave the trees, water and beautiful landscape around here.  Minnesota is very family friendly and I will miss that.  I know that I am moving to somewhere that does not have as many shopping or recreational opporunities but at this time in our life family is more important.  Minnesota will always hold a very special place in my heart as this is where my baby was born.  But our time is done!!!!!

Thursday Thoughts

* This has been one of the best weeks in my life.  Life is Good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

* Neither the Packers or Tech play this weekend so maybe my husband will be more helpful this weekend.

* It's Thursday again so that means one week closer to our trip to Tx!!!!!!!!!!  I can't wait to see family, friends and eat some mexican food.

* I went to a Just Between Friends sale last week and got Hen some amazing things at such good prices.  I started going to these sales when I was pregnant and have yet to be dissapointed.  I have no problem dressing my child in gently used clothes.  Let's get serious most of things were used by his adorable cousins anyways. 

* Henry will have 2 halloween costumes thanks to his aunt Heather.  I can't decide if he will wear both or just wear the one from her and just wear the other as clothes.  Decisions, decisions.  I can't wait to dress him up.

* We are on the look out for a new couch. I know what I want but finding one in the right price range is the key.  I say I know what I want but I don't know if I really do.

Henry

Henry decided on September 12, 2013 that he was ready to turn our lives upside down and start moving.  We have seen this coming for a few weeks but man he is wild.  He is into everything.  He loves to try to touch everything that he shouldn't and then to glance at us to make sure we are watching.  Andrew is learning he is going to have to start putting things up unless he wants little hand prints all over it.  I Love that little boy and am sad to see him growing up daily. 

He has pretty much decided that he is done with baby food.  I am trying to fix more baby friendly dinners but it's kind of hard.  He has tried noodles, waffles, breadsticks, chicken, greenbeans, apple and had his first bite of Twinkie tonight.  I mean why should he be deprived of the good stuff.

Reality is.....................

One of my clients(who I have worked with for almost 3 years) mentioned to me that she does not know how I keep all of my clients straight and remember everything about them.  I explained to her that it was a choice I made.

Yes, I have a pretty good memory but I still choose to listen to most of what is said. I can tell you all about all of my clients family memebers, birthdays, addresses and what ever major events they have going on in their lives.  Which most of them have more drama than you and I combined.  With that being said it made me think of things in my life.

I have my blog set to private for a reason.  I started this blog when we made the venture to Minnesota for family to see what was going on in our lives.  For the most part I know this blog is boring but right now it is perfect for me to note what is going on with our little guy.  Being private was a personal choice when I heard of someone reading the blog thru someone else and not having the nerve to talk to me about it.  Granted I am suppose to be close to this person.  They should know some of the things about me that I know about my clients and truth be known I doubt they do.  So again this got me thinking more. 

How much do you know about someone when you call them your friend?  I may not be the greatest friend, sister, wife, daughter or mom but darn it I do try.  I feel like I know or again try to know important things about my friends. Do you?

So the reality is we all probably need to look at our lives/friendships and see if we are being as good to others as we can be.

Thursday Thoughts

* Again I am so glad it is Thursday and I don't have to work tomorrow

* We have a baby on the move. Wow, not sure how I feel about this

*There is a baby currently chewing on my toes while I type this! He thinks it's hilarious!!!!

* We had an AMAZING weekend. Saturday we went to a part of St Paul we had never been to. The weather was perfect and Henry was so good. We watched plenty of football. Hopefully this weekend will be just as food!

*Its Thursday so that means were one week closer to Henry's and I's trip to Tx!!!!

* I cannot wait for fall! I am sick of the heat!

* We have family pictures scheduled in a few weeks. Hopefully our little guy will cooperate on the day.

* I am so sick of my clients. They are driving me crazy!!!!

Thursday Thoughts

* Seems like forever since I have done my weekly posts but now that I am with the times I can do it from my phone again. Hopefully more posts now!!!!!

* the weather has cooled off here and it is so nice!!!!

* Football season is on at our house.  Andrew is in love and wants his baby to sit and watch with him, well see how long that lasts.

*Andrew woke up with carpet burns on his knees from trying to teach Hen to crawl. He doesn't understand it will happen when it happens.

* think we are going to the farmers market one last time before it closes!!!!

* Coleman turned a year older over the weekend. Calaway in a few weeks and then Crimson. Those kids need to slow down on growing up!!! We are going to celebrate in a few weeks when we're there!

* I got 90% of Henry's Halloween costume ready. I can't wait. Too bad he won't understand.

* Andrew and I have started talking about 1st birthdays for our little guy. We have big plans need to happen first. At this point I am keeping my fingers crossed we will have the party I want for my baby!!  Hopefully our dreams will come true!!!

8 Months

 

 

I don't even know how it is possible that our baby can be 8 months old.  It has gone by so quick and been a blast. 

 

Henry is on the verge of being mobile and I have very  mixed emotions about this.  He want's to move so badly so I have to be excited for him.  Now we just have to get this house ready for a baby on the move.

 

He is doing lots better with food.  He loves him some baby food but was uncertain about regular food.  Everyday we are giving him something new and defferent and he is liking it more and more.

 

I am unsure how much he weighs or how long he is are. 

He has 2 bottom teeth, loves all kinds of baby food except carrots, loves his stuffed fox, loves when his daddy comes home from work, seems to like dadycare, still takes 3 naps and is a very happy baby.

 

We LOVE you Henry Joseph and can't wait to see what you surprise us with this month.
